DNS hosting and HTTP redirection are free with every domain name.
We don't charge for any modifications to your domain name contact details or name servers.
Transfers
.nz domain names may be transferred at no charge.
Other domain names must be renewed for one year at the time they are transferred in to Metaname. This will automatically occur as part of the transfer.
How to pay
You must pay for your domain name within four days of registration or renewal in order to retain it.
Metaname accepts payment via PayPal and New Zealand bank transfer. You maintain a prepaid account from which domain registrations and renewals are debited (transfers are free).
PayPal payments can be made from a PayPal account or a credit/debit card. They incur a fee and are instantly credited to your account. Bank transfers are free and are credited within two business days, or sooner if a screenshot is emailed to us.
For larger payments, we can accept a local bank transfer in many other countries—contact us for more information.
